The Institute of Photochemistry and Photofunctional materials at the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology is seeking Postdoctoral Scholars. Our group focus on the field of application development as well as basic research of photocatalysis. Several examples of our research topic: Photocatalytic treatment of pollutants, photocatalytic removal of gas and water pollutant, Hydrogen evolution by photocatalysis.
Location: Shanghai
Qualifications and Competencies:
1. Have received PhD in Chemistry, Physics, Materials, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering,Energy & Power or other related fields.
2. Have published 2 or more high-quality SCI research papers or have participated in 2 or more related technology patents.
3. Under the age of 35.
4. Have high proficiency in English reading and writing.
5. Ensure academic integrity and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals.
6. Experience in technical development projects in enterprises is preferred.
Terms and conditions:
1. Remunerations are in accordance with related national and municipal policies and University of Shanghai for Science and Technology’s policies.
2. 2 types of postdoctoral position and respective salaries commensurate with qualifications and experience are offered as follows:
Postdoctoral Faculty Fellow is for 2-year fixed term with a salary of 230,000RMB per annum;
Hujiang Postdoc is for 3-year fixed term with a salary of 390,000RMB per annum.
In addition, postdoctoral fellows selected into the Shanghai "Super Postdoctoral Fellow" program will receive a subsidy of 150,000 RMB per annum for 2 years.
3. Accommodation or housing allowance are open for application.
4. Competitive experimental condition and sufficient research funding will be provided.
5. After recruited as postdocs, particular excellent members can be promoted as lecturers, associate professors or researchers directly after postdoctoral research.
6. Opportunities to participate in the research projects of Shanghai Photocatalytic Industry Research Institute and working experience with world-class photocatalytic scientists and international technical experts.
